What we collect, who can see it, and your choices.

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Digital Override LLC ("GlossDock", "we") collects through GlossDock, how we use it, and your choices.

Two roles

  • For Detailers' own account and business information, we decide how it is used.
  • For Customers' information collected through a Detailer's booking page, we handle it on that Detailer's behalf so they can run their business. The Detailer decides how they use it. Contact the Detailer about their own practices.

What we collect

From Detailers: email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash); business name, booking link, bio, city, state, service area and timezone; services, prices and durations; weekly hours; portfolio photos and captions; and whether the business is listed in the directory.

Billing (Detailers on a paid plan): Stripe collects your payment details directly on its own checkout page. We share your business name and account email with Stripe to set up your billing account, and we store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your plan, its status and renewal date, and when your first payment went through. We never see or store your card number.

Referral links: if you open a GlossDock referral link, we count the visit (we store only the time, not who you are) and set a cookie for 60 days that remembers which link you came from. If you then sign up, we record which Detailer referred you.

From Customers who book: name, email, phone number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), vehicle year, make, model and color, the address where the service will happen, appointment date, time, service and notes, and whether the Detailer marks you as a recurring client.

Automatically: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the Service. We use only the cookies described below. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

How we use it

  • To provide the Service: show booking pages and the directory, let Customers book open times, and let Detailers manage appointments and clients.
  • To bill Detailers who choose a paid plan, and to run the referral program.
  • To keep the Service secure and working, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
  • To contact Detailers about their account, billing and important changes.
  • To comply with the law.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who can see what

  • A Customer's booking details are shared only with the Detailer they booked. Every Detailer's data is walled off from every other Detailer, both in our application and inside the database itself. Customers have a separate account with each Detailer.
  • The public directory shows only businesses that are listed (on by default at signup; owners can turn it off any time, and we may hide a listing but never add one), and only this business information: business name, city and state, service area, part of the bio, services and starting price, and portfolio photos. It never shows Customers.
  • A Detailer in our referral program sees, for each business that signed up through their link, the business name, when it joined, and the month its first payment went through. Nothing else about that business, and nothing about its Customers.
  • Our own staff can see business-level information for running the platform: each business's name, owner email, city, listing status, plan and billing status, and counts of services, photos, customers and bookings. Our staff tools do not show Customers' names, contact details, addresses or vehicles. Our technical administrators can access the database to run, repair and secure the service, and do so only when needed.
  • Our service providers, who process data for us under contract: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database) and Stripe (payments; Stripe also emails receipts and renewal reminders to Detailers on a paid plan). GlossDock does not send email itself today; if that changes, the provider will be listed here.
  • The law: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
  • Business transfers: if Digital Override LLC or GlossDock is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Cookies

We set only these cookies, all HTTP-only and none used for tracking or advertising: gd_session (signed-in Detailers), gd_customer (signed-in Customers, one Detailer at a time), gd_admin (our own staff), and gd_ref (the referral link you came from, for 60 days, removed once you sign up).

How long we keep it

We keep account information while the account is open. A Detailer can ask us to close their account by emailing brady@cheatcodesolutions.com; we then delete their business and their Customers' information from the live database, and it ages out of our backups within 7 days. A Customer can ask the Detailer they booked with, or email us, to delete their information. We may keep billing records as long as tax law requires.

Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Each business's data is isolated by row-level security inside the database, not just in our code. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your information in your dashboard or customer account, and ask us to access, correct or delete it by emailing brady@cheatcodesolutions.com. Detailers can remove their directory listing at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law. We will honor applicable requests and will not discriminate against you for making one.

Children

GlossDock is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make a material change, we will update the date above and notify Detailers by email or in the dashboard.
